In addition to all electrical design, electrical technolo-G Ltd offer a Lighting Design service for both the Domestic & the Commercial Markets via our sister company d-light design. We recognise the importance of good lighting & will guide you to the most appropriate luminaires to create imaginative & inspiring lighting solutions.
We recognise that good lighting, with its attention to detail, is only effective if installed correctly. So we work together, as one team, to provide harmony between the designer & installer to produce stunning results that add the “wow factor“ to any situation. After the initial meeting with the Client to discuss needs, aspirations, life style, energy efficiency & most importantly, budgets, d-light design will produce a Lighting Portfolio for each project.
This document includes:
* Lighting layout drawings
* Lighting Circuits
* Specification Sheet
* Data sheets for each light fitting, showing photos & all relevant information on the fittings
* Luminaire costing Sheet
We have no allegiance to any Lighting Manufacturer or Wholesaler. This is very important as it allows freedom to specify the correct light fittings, from a whole range of different Lighting Manufacturers, ensuring the lights that are eventually specified are chosen on merit & suitability for the client & project & not for any other reason.
Together, we have completed a wide variety of Commercial projects including Offices, Museums, Restaurants, Showrooms & Churches, as well as many individual private homes, complete with Home Automation & Lighting Controls.
With Office Lighting, we can guide you through the maze of legislation to create a comfortable working environment for employees that promotes good health, safety & inspiration, including a full emergency Lighting Design.
Even though there tends to be more restrictions when it comes to lighting a commercial property compared to a domestic, we do believe that this should not curtail creative flair. As long as budgets are maintained & energy efficiency considered, we can still produce lighting schemes that have a welcoming environment with maybe a dramatic first impression.
